This is one in a series of successful Culture Mix events co-hosted by the Arts Council and acclaimed arts and cultural institutions throughout the northwest region. People from the cultural community ranging from individual performing, visual and literary artists, artisans, historians, staff, board members, patrons, and volunteers of cultural institutions and venues that offer cultural programming within and around the 24-town region served by the Arts Council are invited to attend this free networking event.

At the CultureMIX, the Northwest Connecticut Arts Council will be providing information about its newest projects, in addition to its current services. The new Phoenix Rising Center looks forward to introducing its programs that support visual and performing artists along with community collaboratives, and to showing its workshop, studio and performance spaces.

The Arts Council's board and staff will also take advantage of the opportunity to hear first hand from people in the cultural community attending the CultureMIX about what they are currently doing and what they would like from the Council.
